Magpie finished! I've been trying to complete more 6"x6" because those are a great size for people wanting to own some original art without needing a large space or budget to accommodate it.
However, my ideas are definitely growing beyond the smaller scale. I see myself moving towards larger original pieces but having prints available at multiple sizes and price points. It will allow me the freedom to paint the way I feel inspired to without leaving anyone out. While the painting itself provides most of the guidance for me while I'm working, I still always take the viewer into consideration. Who could see this in their home? Would it be uplifting? Could it provide them with inspiration? Will it make them feel as alive as it does me?
Art is constant communication. It's one of my favorite things about it.
